This website was born out of the idea that families a very dispersed nowadays. This is a family website that offers loads of fun ways to keep in touch with each other.  E-mail is great, but this is so much more. And Facebook is fun, but very, very public! This site offers almost no functionality for unregistered users. If anyone stumbles across this site, they will probably hit the back button. You don't get in without a user name and password, and no new account is activated without Admin approval. So it is tailored for a small, select user group, like immediate family. It is tailored for families but could be used for any 'select user-group' style website. We can help to tailor it to your needs.

What do you need to get a site like this.

Firstly, you need a hosting account and a website address. You can use any hosting account that you wish, as long as it comes with at least one MySQL database.  If you click on 'webhosting' in the top menu, you will see our prefferred supplier. The Economy plan, which costs $4/month, would be more than adequate to start. At the same time as taking a hosting account, you can puchase your URL or website address. For example [YOURSURNAME].com. This also means that you can setup 500 email addresses that look like this [ANYTHING]@[YOURSURNAME].com. This costs another $9/year.

The other important and absolutely vital element, is someone with some computer skills who can administer this website. This is not difficult for anyone who is comfortable on a computer. We will even supply tutorials to explain how to do it.  Someone will have to learn some new skills, skills that could be used to make money too!

And lastly, you need to contact us to discuss you exact requirements and/or any extra functionallity that you would like to add to your site. We also need to know if you are happy to use one of the existing styles or if you want a different template. A new template will require a little extra time to tweak correctly, but not much! Once we have all your requirements we will gladly quote you. And as soon as we have access to your hosting account, it won't take more than two days to set up.
